DESCRIPTION:I received a brief announcement telling that the 2025 Holiday Gathering (aka Brunch) will take place on a date and time to-be-determined.  \nAs a placeholder\, I posted this event into the first Sunday in December 25. \nThe event location is t-be-determined.  TJ Rockwell’s located at 896 W. Grantham Road\, Mechanicsburg\, PA.   \nDriving directions:   W. Grantham Road runs mostly East-West between Williams Grove Road on the west end and Gettysburg Pike on the east end. \nLandmarks in the area include the Williams Grove Speedway –and–  Ashcombe’s Farm and Greenhouses. \nThose interested in attending are asked to eMail Club President Frank Mellott at president@RadioClub-CARC.com with their attendance intent and head count and the names of those attending.  Names are used in the preparation of the table cards that  have been a traditional feature of the CARC Holiday event. \n

DESCRIPTION:The Dillsburg Community Fair Association is making preparations for Farmers Fair 2025. \nFarmers Fair activities span the week of October 13 through October 18\, 2025.\nSaturday is packed with events taking place all day and culminating in the Fantastic Parade. \nThe parade will take place Saturday Evening October 18\, 2025.\nMembers of the community who wish to watch the parade will want to make note of the 7:30 p.m. parade starting time. \n  \nCARC provides communication assistance to the Parade Organizers and Parade Marshals.\nIf you would like to volunteer to be of service please let Harry Fasick K3EYL know. \nCARC Member Volunteers should report at 3:30 p.m.\, or as directed.\nWe meet in the parade formation area which is along North 2nd Street\, and West Church Street. \nCARC routinely operates a ham radio base station in the Dillsburg Authority Building at 98 West Church Street.\nWe usually have a presence in the tent along West Church Street where pre-registered individuals and groups can pick up their position in the parade.\nWe typically have a second presence in the tent along North 2nd Street at Welty Avenue where pre-registered individuals and groups can pick up their position in the parade. \n  \n
