Greetings!  This is the November issue.

At the CARC Monthly Meeting the other night, someone asked me “What does the Club President do?”

That’s a fair question.  For 15 years Andrew, AF3I  produced the agenda, a newsletter, a website, all kinds of tangible rewards, planned meetings, planned events and lots of things I may not know.

I am lucky.  I have Andrew AF3I to turn these scribbles into website worthy material.  He turns the rough draft of the agenda into an agenda and newsletter.  Andrew was the “membership department”.  I rely on the Membership Secretary to handle the details.

Thanks to COVID-19 reducing expenses and some generous donors, I can rely on the Treasurer to simply provide funds without having to wonder how we pay for stuff.  The Secretary records the minutes.  The Trustee makes sure we have a license for K3IEC.

So what do I do?  I write this column 12 times a year. I write the rough drafts for 11 meetings a year.  I lead 11 meetings a year.  I say thank you to AF3I a lot!  I look for programs and either prepare them or find speakers.

In short, I don’t do a lot.  It takes a village and we have a good one, 45 members strong, soon to be 46.

What have you done today?
