The South Mountain Radio Amateurs (SMRA) will hold their next License Training class on Monday February 26, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The classes run for up to 7 weeks. Classes are held at the Bosler Library located at 158 W. High ST., Carlisle, PA 17013.
There are five 2-hour training class sessions, and one testing session.
The seventh and final session is dedicated to those that pass the licensing exam. This is where SMRA will give all the newly licensed HAMs a vhf/uhf handheld radio and train them how to program and talk on it.
