The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines the phrase Make a difference as…
1 : to cause a change : to be important in some way
2 : to do something that is important : to do something that helps people or makes the world a better place
The Member Bulletin Board is your opportunity to Make a difference. How can I make a difference?, you ask. Your part is easy as “A”, “B”, “C”, “D”.
Anything that you would like to share with your fellow CARC Members is fair game. Whatever you would like to share will work best if it has a visual characteristic. Consider the following topics — an Award you earned, a Certificate you received, QSL Cards from a memorable station you worked, Screen Snapshots or Photos showing some aspect of Ham Radio. Let your imagination run wild.
By any means possible, take a photograph or scan what you wish to share. There are a few conditions we ask you will to observe. [Editor’s Note: These conditions represent a starting point and are subject to change as we learn more about the security controls they provide.] We accept certain file types based on their file extension (text, documents, images, PDF, spreadsheet), up to 30 mB in size, and up to two files can be uploaded in a single session.
Click the nearby button titled “find out more” and you will be taken to a data entry form called Member Bulletin Board File Upload Form. Answer the questions (Call Sign, Name, eMail Address, a brief description of what you are uploading. Then, follow the instructions to select your file for uploading to the website administrator. He (or she) will do the rest.
Don’t forget to click the SUBMIT button to send your data on its way.
