This page provides a view of frequently recurring calendar events, such as those events having Daily or Weekly repeating cycles.
These calendar entries tend to be identical from week-to-week, or day-to-day. However, a large effort goes into maintaining those 52 or 365 entries.
Effective as of January 01, 2026 this type of calendar entry will be presented once on this page with the same description that otherwise would have appeared repetitiously in the Event Calendar View.

The frequently recurring events are:
CARC Two Meter Phone Net (Weekly, Sundays at 7:00 p.m. local time Eastern)
CARC Two Meter VHF Digital Net (Weekly, Sundays at 6:00 p.m. local time Eastern)
CARC Ten Meter Phone Net (Weekly, Wednesdays [except the third Wednesday of each month], at 8:00 p.m. local time Eastern)
CARC Coffee Group Get Together (Weekly, Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. local time Eastern)
Weekly RTTY Test (Weekly, Thursday Evening 8:45 p.m. Eastern Standard Time or 9:45 p.m. Daylight Saving Time)

• CARC Two-Meter Phone Net
CARC Members, Visitors and our Guests gather On-The-Air each Sunday Evening at 7 p.m. to about 7:30 p.m. for general discussion in a relaxed net environment.
Anyone can participate. Everyone is invited. Set your Two-Meter transceiver to 146.490 MHz FM Simplex and join the activity. If you can hear us, we probably can hear you.
Net Control Station – Doug Stenger, KC3CPT taking the lead. Other members fill-in as NCS when needed. Doug is located in Grid Square FN10jd.
If you are a licensed Amateur Radio Operator who does not yet have VHF radio equipment and/or an antenna, or if you are located beyond the range of coverage, you may wish to participate in this net using EchoLink. Download and install the EchoLink software on your PC, iPhone, or Android phone. Connect to the CARC EchoLink Node 259045, which can be found by searching for call sign AF3I-L EchoLink Node.
We also operate a VHF Digital Net each Sunday Evening at 6:00 p.m. That net meets on 146.490 MHz FM Simplex using sound card audio fed into the microphone or data jack on your transceiver. THOR 22 is our customary mode.

• CARC Two-Meter VHF Digital Net
We meet Sunday Evenings at 6:00 p.m. local time Eastern
The net typically winds up its business by 6:30 p.m.
We meet on 146.490 MHz FM Simplex.
Net Participants use their two-meter FM transceiver and a PC running FLDigi software via a Sound Card Digital Mode interface such as SignaLink.
Our operating mode usualy is THOR 22.
Net control Station usually is AF3I. Operator Andrew is located in Dillsburg, PA. Grid Square FN10lc.
Check-Ins are invited. Please transmit your Call Sign, First Name, and Town.City at check-in time.
After the check-ins have been completed we hold a round-robin session of comments in the same sequence as our participants checked-in.

• CARC Ten-Meter Phone Net
CARC Members, Visitors and our Guests gather On-The-Air each Wednesday evening (except Monthly Meeting nights on the third Wednesday of each month) at 8:00 p.m. for informal discussion in a round-table net environment. The net typically wraps up its business by 8:30 p.m.
Anyone can participate. Everyone is invited to join-in. Set your Ten-Meter transceiver to 28.400 MHz Upper Sideband (move up or down if that frequency is in use) and join the activity.
If you can hear us, we probably can hear you.
Our Net Control Station usually is K3EYK. Garry will announce the net and invite check-ins using a roll-call. Garry is located in Grid Square FN10kd.

• CARC Coffee Group Get Together
The group meets every Thursday morning from 10:00 a.m. to about 11:45 a.m. local time Eastern.
During cold weather months the group meets via a Zoom Web Meeting.

During warm weather months it is a pleasure to meet at the Caffe 101.
On really nice weather mornings the group occupies a table or two on the outdoor patio.

Rules
- Held early every Friday on the UTC clock. That is Thursday local time in North America.
- Everyone Works Everyone
- Each unique call (once per session) is a multiplier
- 1 Point per QSO
- 10, 15, 20, 40, and 80 Meter bands
- 100 Watt (Low-Power) and 5 Watt (QRP) Categories.

- 3.585-3.590, 7.083-7.090, 14.083-14.090, 21.083-21.090, and 28.083-28.090 MHz

- W/VE – Name and State
- DX – Name and Country Prefix
Logging
- We suggest using the NAQP contest. Ignore the logger’s multiplier count; instead manually count unique call signs per session for the multiplier.
