We meet!  We chat!  We eat!  We activate… and chat and eat!

• We adapt!  Our monthly business meetings are streamlined, allowing for presentations & discussion.  A workgroup is investigating the next meeting enhancement, providing our Zoomers a wider view of the Hoss’s audience.  In February, we deployed smaller, newer & better audio equipment ( February Minutes page 2 ) to the delight of attendees near and far.  Hear all!  See all!

• Beyond the Airwaves, the new series of activities, kicked off with the POTA Picnic (Parks On The Air) at Pine Grove Furnace State Park (US-1398) & Michaux State Forest (US-5471).  15 members & guests hung out, chatted, and ate – a few operated their portable stations.  A cyclist (new ham) pedaled up after seeing our banner!  Remaining April events may include another park activation with fresh air opportunity, plus an informal daytime meal somewhere.  Details forthcoming.

• Annual On-The-Air Events.  Derby Day 5/2 is confirmed!  ( April Agenda  page 9 under the CONFIRMED ACTIVITIES headline ) .  The emerging 2026 Field Day Plan for this 6/27 – 6/28 club event is posted.

• ARRL & YOU!  Review the benefits ARRL provides its membership.

• ARRL & CARC.  We remain an ARRL Affiliated Club, providing us tangible benefits.  We participate in the ARRL Affiliated Club Group Insurance Program.  By handling your ARRL membership applications & renewals through CARC instead of ARRL, the club receives a commission.

• Thanks to YOU for choosing to assert your CARC membership through 12/31/26 or even beyond!  At April’s meeting, we’ll get an updated 2026 tally from our Membership Secretary.

• Follow along!  On my president’s scorecard, I’m excited that all six CARC 2026 Leadership Guide initiatives are now in full motion.
